Product 

The Essential Reading and ABC Mathseeds workbooks 

Yes, the home-school worksheets are the same however, the Essential Skills Workbooks have lots of added material. The workbooks were created to help cater to parents who require comprehensive reinforcement of the learning from the online lessons. At the end of each 4-page unit, there is a quick review section for the children as well as the parent to determine the child’s progress. These books also have a quiz at the end of every ten lessons along with a certificate. Plus, the Workbooks have a year planner to provide an overview of the lesson focus for the year. Homeschoolers find this particularly helpful. 

The K and Year 1 workbooks do not contain answers as the content is very simple and easy. Answers are available for the workbooks from Year 2 onwards. 

The ABC Mathseeds workbook contains answers for Year 3 only. 

Yes, the Reading Essential Workbooks K & 1 match with the ABC Reading Eggs lessons, 1 - 120.  

The ABC Mathseeds Essential Workbooks K - 2 match the ABC Mathseeds online lessons, 1 - 150.  

These workbooks provide a physical component to reinforce what students learn in our online ABC Reading Eggs and ABC Mathseeds program however, the workbooks can also work as a standalone resource.  

Our editorial team are working on expanding ABC Mathseeds online lessons for Year 4. Once the online lessons are completed, they will work on creating a Year 4 Essential Skills ABC Mathseeds workbook next year.  

Activity books

The Activity Books and Activity Sheets under the bonus material tab in the family dashboard will cover the same content as both resources correspond to the online program.  

The activity books have been designed to meet the requirements of children aged between 3-7. They can be used by Pre-Kindergarten to Year 1 levels.  

There are no answers in the Activity books as the content covered in these books is considerably basic and easy. 

Yes, the activity books have been designed to work alongside the online lessons. We have eight Activity Books that correspond to the first 80 lessons of the online program. Each Activity book corresponds to a set of 10 online lessons. 

The activity books are supplementary materials that help reinforce what children have learnt from the online ABC Reading Eggs lessons (1-80).  
The Reading & Maths Essential Skills Workbooks were created to help cater to parents who require comprehensive reinforcement of the learning from the online lessons. As well as the activities, the workbooks include a quick review section for the children at the end of each 4-page unit to help parents determine their child’s progress. These books also have a quiz at the end of every ten lessons, along with a certificate. The Workbooks also have a year planner to provide an overview of the lesson focus for the year. 

This would be based on your child’s learning requirements, their areas of strength and what areas you would like to focus on. We have an entire range of activity books that focus on a set of skills like Phonics, Grammar and Spelling plus activity books that reinforce what your child has learnt from the online lessons.
